Alexa is a member of the Property Team and handles a mix of commercial and residential, freehold and leasehold property matters for a range of charities, businesses and individuals. She is also the supervising partner for Employment and Dispute Resolution matters.

Having spent the first part of her career as a litigator, Alexa has a particular interest in some of the potentially contentious areas of property law such as business lease renewal and termination under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, restrictive covenants and other title problems and service charge issues under long residential leases. She also deals with Leasehold Enfranchisement and lease extensions.

After graduating with a degree in Law from Oxford University, Alexa undertook her solicitor's training at Witham Weld. She remained with the firm after qualifying and handled employment law advice for employers and employees, together with dispute resolution, including civil court (High Court and County Court)proceedings, on a wide range of matters before moving to focus more on property work in 2002. She retains an involvement with employment, court and other dispute resolution matters. She has been a partner since 1987.

Alexa is a member of the Charity Law Association and of the Conference of Solicitors for Catholic Charities, and is also a trustee of a number of charities.
