Andrew Brett


Andrew has 25 years of experience in all aspects of dispute resolution, employment law, property disputes, contentious probate and professional negligence.  He enjoys finding practical solutions for clients facing a court or tribunal issue in a timely and cost effective way.  Andrew has litigated at every level from the County Court to the High Court and at Tribunal level.

Notable case:  Bichay v Bassaly (2016, Chancery Division) where he was instructing solicitor in a three-day trial in the Chancery Division of proprietary estoppel and unpaid vendor’s lien involving alleged partnership involving financial transactions in California.

In employment cases, Andrew acts for both employee and employer on employment contracts, staff manuals and HR policies. On the contentious side he advises on unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, redundancy, grievances and settlement agreements.

Andrew works with Michele Price on charity disputes, inquests, regulatory inquiries and professional disciplinary tribunals.

Having obtained a degree in Law with French at Manchester Polytechnic. Andrew attended the College of Law in Guildford before qualifying as a solicitor in a medium sized Holborn firm.  Andrew has subsequently practised in the fields of Dispute Resolution and Employment Law in small to medium Central London firms, as well as a large North London firm, before joining PWW in July 2019.


Andrew enjoys cooking, playing badminton, watching rugby and is a long suffering supporter of Huddersfield Town FC.
