Andy Final

Andy is a solicitor in the Churches and Charities team. He advises charities on the application of charity law and regulation. He regularly assists trustees with governance matters, such as amending a charity’s governing document, appointing or retiring new trustees and drafting policies. He has a wealth of experience in registering new charities, particularly charitable incorporated organisations. Andy’s skills as a draftsman are particularly sought after. As the administrator of a grant-making charity, a recently appointed charity trustee and with a background working at charities, he understands the need for practical advice.

Andy is an experienced trainer on governance issues, and has provided well-received training to a number of charities, especially small charities, on a wide range of issues.

Andy has been awarded the status of TEP by the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) which is the gold standard qualification in this area of practice.
