Lynn John primarily specialises in advising a large number of educational and religious charities on trust and constitutional issues. He deals also with property acquisitions, sales and leasing arrangements for them and other institutional clients.
Career
Lynn joined Pothecary and Barratt as an Assistant Solicitor in 1966 and was made a partner in 1967. In March 2008 Lynn became a consultant.
Personal
Lynn has been a Governor of a highly successful Girls' School and remains a Director/Trustee of a College of Adult and Further Education, both situated in north-west London. He has for many years been the Honorary Solicitor to the Baptist Union of Wales and to the London Welsh Association, and is a member of the Law and Policy Committee of the Methodist Church. He is married to an Australian (Margaret) and has two children. Outside of work, Lynn enjoys golf, the occasional game of cricket, chess and backgammon, watching rugby, and is a life-long supporter of Swansea City AFC.
