Areas of work

Kim is a solicitor in the Private Client Department based in Bishop's Stortford. She has experience of will drafting together with trust and estate administration. She has undertaken Court of Protection work and is a trustee of a charitable trust. A litigation background has assisted her in dealing with a number of contested probate matters and negotiate a settlement in a contested statutory will application.

Career

Kim obtained a PhD in Ecology from Royal Holloway College (Univ. of London). Her plans to enter the environmental field were thwarted when it seemed the world was not yet ready to be saved - at least not by her! She re-qualified as a solicitor and subsequently worked for Leigh Day & Co, a leading environmental firm, on a number of high profile multi party actions. In 2000 she transferred to a local firm in west London to work in their private client department. She joined Pothecary Witham Weld in July 2007 following a move to Bishop's Stortford.

Personal

Kim enjoys scouring flea markets and antique markets for ephemera. A love of history and curiosity spurred her to research her family tree - a work in progress! Kim's creative interests include embroidery, photography and mixed media art. She continues her search for the perfect malt whisky.
