Gerald is head of the Church and Charities Department. He specialises in advising charities and religious communities on trust and general financial matters and private clients on wills, tax and trusts.
Gerald also has experience of advising on elderly client issues and Court of Protection matters.
Career
Having obtained a Law Degree from the University of Birmingham Gerald trained at Witham Weld, qualifying in 1991. On qualification he joined the firm's Private Client Department, although initially focusing on commercial and business law matters. He then moved on to advising charities and private clients. He became a partner in 1994.
Personal
Gerald has direct experience of many of the issues on which he advises through being a trustee of different types of Trust.
