Areas of Work

Angela is head of the Private Client Department.

For most of her career, Angela has advised individuals and families on the preservation of their wealth, through the use of trusts and inheritance tax planning. Angela has extensive experience in the preparation of wills tailored to the needs of the individual client by taking account of property, family and tax issues.

Angela handles all aspects of Private Client matters, including the administration of complex trusts and estates, the preparation of Enduring Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection, for Receiverships and applications for Statutory Wills.

Career

Angela qualified as a solicitor while bringing up her family. She served articles at a firm in Enfield. She joined Pothecary & Barratt in 1998 and has been a Partner since 2000/2001.

Personal

Angela is a member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners) and serves on the Probate Committee of the Hertfordshire Law Society. She is on the Finance Committee of her Parish Church. She is married to Graham and has a grown up son and a daughter.

Angela was born in Italy and retains links with her place of birth. She loves everything Italian.
