Areas of work

Andrew is a solicitor in the private client department in London. His practice includes advising on: inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax; estate planning; wills; grants of probate and administration of estates; mental capacity issues including lasting powers of attorney and dealing with the Court of Protection; long-term care funding issues; and trustee, beneficiary and general trust matters. Andrew also advises charities on a variety of issues.

Career

Andrew read Mathematics and Philosophy at Bristol University. He subsequently trained to become a solicitor and joined Witham Weld upon qualifying in 2004. He is currently a student member of the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) and of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Personal

Andrew speaks fluent Italian and good French having lived in Italy and France. He has completed several 'century' (100 mile) cycle rides for charity, and enjoys good food, sailing and music.
